Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor in Mutimedia Computing Group ( MMC ), National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences. I received my Ph.D. degree in JiangSu University, School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering, advised by Prof. Qirong Mao. During my PhD study, I am also advised by Prof. Changsheng Xu and Associate Prof. Tianzhu Zhang in Mutimedia Computing Group (MMC), National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Sciences.

My research interests include Multimedia Computing, Deep Learning and Computer Vision. My recent work is mainly about deep learning based multimedia understanding, with a focus on facial expression recognition and corss-media retrieval.
